Out on The Patio to carry Imageglow® Candles
In Spring 2006, owner Katrina Kohnle was faced with a career dilemna. She was a busy dermatology sales representative and a mother of three. Her sales territory was expanding, ” I was already spending close to seventy hours a month in a car and the thought of doubling that was overwhelming.” Add to that a husband who also has a large sales territory. We had discussed through the years that we would love to own our own business. We even made it thorough a vigorous franchise application. We just weren’t sure that a franchise was the route we wanted to take. I wanted to create a niche market!”
The Out on the Patio appointment only showroom was opened in the Spring of 2007. Out on the Patio is family owned and operated. Katrina’s children and husband not only lend their moral support but their physical skills as well. Sons Ethan, Drew and daughter Addison are on call to help with smaller deliveries and assembly. Drew has also played an important roll in the Audio visual side of the business. He helps create slide shows and other advertising for our annual Home and Garden booth and showroom.
Today in 2010, Out on the Patio offers many products and services including outdoor furniture for both residential and commercial settings, outdoor accessories, cushion replacements, tailgating supplies, in both a showroom setting and online store. Katrina continues to offer clients the one on one interaction during the ordering process at their home or in the showroom and is on site for the deliveries. “We strive to bring the best customer service and products that are possible”
